Mobile Meals of Toledo: Volunteer or Donate to Serve

Life is sweeter when you volunteer!

More than 800 volunteers donate over 30,000 hours of service annually by delivering nutritious food to help our clients maintain their independence. Home delivery volunteers typically work two lunch hours each month (no weekend or evening deliveries) using their personal vehicles. You’ll deliver on the same days of the month (for example, the first and third Wednesday of every month), and you’ll deliver to the same clients’ neighborhood each time. Potential volunteers must attend an orientation session, authorize a background check, and provide proof of automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license. Please look over our volunteer opportunities to see what fits your schedule.

All of us at Mobile Meals feel indebted to you, the supporters who share our commitment to providing nutritional independence. Without your generous support, our efforts would be impossible. Please know that you are making a meaningful difference in your neighbors’ lives.

Contributions to Mobile Meals can be made at any time and in any denomination. Acknowledgements and receipts are provided.

All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Welcome to Adopt A US Soldier
Adopt A US Soldier is a non-profit organization that seeks volunteers to help show the brave men and women fighting for our freedom that their sacrifices will not go unnoticed. It connects supportive civilians with deployed troops and offers a channel by which to communicate encouragement and express gratitude to those brave men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Staffed fully by volunteers, AAUSS has helped thousands of soldiers find friendship, support, and a much loved and needed touch of home.
Adopt A US Soldier is active in over 170+ countries/ territories/ independent states with over 1,000,000 active volunteers supporting our troops by adopting a soldier. It is very easy to do and more rewarding than you can imagine, and you will show a soldier that you support them and cherish your freedom. We ask that you send your soldier a weekly letter or postcard for long term adoption because a letter is like a hug from home!!

Your support makes a difference!
